Payments for people with a disability or health condition
The Disability Support Pension is for people whose condition stops them working at least 15 hours a week. Services Australia decides whether you meet the medical and other rules. Once you do, the amount you’re paid depends on the same income and assets tests as the Age Pension.
Many people on the pension want to work some hours. The “working while on DSP” planner shows how your payment and total income change at different levels of pay.
